Nestled at the foot of the Touwsberg on the banks of the Touws River lies Woverfontein farm.  This farm, just off Route 62, was established in 1890 with the building of Moreson Manor.  This "Volstruis Paleis", built at the height of the ostrich feather boom, and now a private residence, is your reception to the two accommodation options on offer - Zara Cottage and D'Waenhuis.  You'll feel quite at home in Zara Cottage, a fully furnished tongue-in-the-cheek look at country living over the past 5 decades, surrounded by art deco furniture and Thinus de Jongh art prints.  Alternatively you can stay in D'WaenHuis - a fully restored retro-pioneer building. Submerge yourself in this stylishly contemporary interpretation of the early South African settler trader's lifestyle.
