Here we offer you country hospitality at a slow pace, tranquility, wide open spaces and steaming hot water to restore body, mind and soul.  This hot mineral spring is set in an elevated position on the mountain with panoramic views of the Klein Karoo's renowned wide-open space.  There are 2 outdoor pools (the hot pool's temperature varies from 38º to 42ºC),  2 hiking trails and a variety of recreational activities.   

 The old farm dam fell in disuse and became an eyesore.   This has now been turned into a Lapa  with a restaurant, offering country fare and special Sunday lunches, a cocktail bar and  kiosk which is stocked with basic provisions and the bottle store stocks local wines.   A large reed-covered  deck offers fantastic panoramic views of five mountain ranges.  The Lapa has a reed covered roof as well.  It is  suitable for functions, e.g weddings, spit braais, small conferences, etc.

Location:     District.   3 km off Route 62 -  50 km from Ladismith and 29 km from Barrydale.

Type:         Self-catering  - fully equipped. Linen and towels not provided.  Restaurant on premises

Accommodation:   a.   The Main House (restored santorium -Victorian building).  5 Units each with own kitchenette and sunken Roman bath.  The baths are not en suite and the toilets are shared by the other guests.  Each unit can accommodate 2 - 4 persons.

                            b.    The Bath House, built in 1886 has  2 units, each with 2 bedrooms (1 double &  2 single beds), sleeping 4 persons. Built up Roman baths, kitchen with indoor fireplace.  Outside braai.

                           c.    Langeberg - a 3-bedroomed .Plettenberg house sleeping 5 persons (1 double, 2 single and 1 bunk bed).  Lounge, bathroom and kitchen.

                           d.   Timber chalets   - 1 or 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 - 6 persons. One bedroom unit has 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed in kitchen/living section. Bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. Private braai aea. Two bedroom unit have 1 double, 2 single beds and bunk bed/sleeper couch in kitchen/living area. Bathroom with shower or bath, toilet, basin.

                           e.   Caravan and Camping sites with level grassed sites with electrical points and braai facilities.   Ablution block has two sunken Roman baths, showers, washbasins and toilets. 

                           f.   Permanent caravans on site for hire. All have electrical power and braai facilities.
